MaxMarket Admin/CRM

MaxMarket marketplace.png

Project Description
A fully self-contained CRM, including sellers and buyers(end-customers). It contains  all the Marketplace’s specifics such as product SEO and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

  • Research the old existing system

  • Talk with admins/ Interview to understand what they didn't like in old version

  • Design new Admin panel and CRM compatible with new platform

Background

Initial Research result:

Spoiler* It was a mess.
Buttons here and there. Nothing was really organized or grouped. At first I thought to ignore the old version. But after few conversations figured out that most of the admins feel very comfortable with it. So my mission was hard. I needed to achieve fluent transition and simultaneously correct the elements groupings (Not too much to not face rejection and onboarding troubles).

Interviews

At first they passed like old version is perfect. It took me more than 2 follow ups to figure out at least minimal possible and desirable changes by personal. As well as during interviews I figured out that Metronic was used to build previous version and decided to use it as well to reduce visual rejection and leave recognizable elements as is.

New Design

New UI components

Few changes were added by me, such as separators where needed, grouping in tabs and ofc visual branding elements to make a little more grouped fields that later were appreciated by moderators and admins

As well as new pages were added to support new platform’s additional functionality. And I was able to push UX improvements forward. Those were count indicators on places where moderators were previously opening inner page just to see the count. Such as reply count, new added items count, newly joined sellers count, news page, banners page etc.
